Here is my list of the top 10 commitments of the class of 2011 in terms of future impact:
1. Karlos Williams S, Florida State -- could be a Sean Taylor-type presence for the Seminoles
2. Tony Steward LB, Clemson -- physical specimen who will contribute right away in Death Valley
3. Mike Bellamy RB, Clemson -- may be the next CJ Spiller, will thrive in Clemson's speed-oriented offense
4. Sammy Watkins WR, Clemson -- may not contribute right away, but we think he'll be a good one
5. Nick O'Leary TE/ATH, Florida State -- Seminoles will find a spot for this versatile athlete to thrive in
6. Stephone Anthony LB, Clemson -- great tackler who will be a solid player
7. James Wilder Jr. ATH, Florida State -- physically dominant but does not have a real position or skill set
8. Anthony Chickillo DE, Miami -- dominated at the Under Armour game and has great character
9. Timmy Jernigan DT, Florida State -- big enough to play DT and quick enough to play DE
10. Albert Louis-Jean CB, Boston College -- should start from day 1 in a strong defense
As you can see, the 2011 class was dominated by Clemson and Florida State. This was a good recruiting year for the conference as a whole, but look for these 10 guys to make an impact next year as freshmen. freshmen.
